Baseball Recap: Heath Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Heath won the last time they faced Mt. Vernon and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs skirted past the Yellowjackets 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three contests in a row.

Heath's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Mt. Vernon, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Heath will take on rival Johnstown-Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mt. Vernon is set to challenge their familiar foe Licking Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
