Volleyball Recap: Cherokee Bluff Gets the Win

After losing to Loganville the last time they met, Cherokee Bluff decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bears walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Red Devils on Tuesday.

Cherokee Bluff easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18.

Cherokee Bluff's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Loganville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cherokee Bluff and Loganville will both be playing Athens Academy the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Red Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
