Basketball Recap: Logan Elm's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Logan Elm was the 49-41 winner over McClain when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Logan Elm Braves fell to the McClain Tigers 55-51. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while the Tigers are ranked 119th).

Logan Elm's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-11. As for McClain, the win was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-1.

Logan Elm is taking a road trip to face off against Amanda-Clearcreek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Logan Elm is facing Amanda-Clearcreek at the right time seeing as Amanda-Clearcreek is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for McClain, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the McClain Tigers challenge the Miami Trace Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
