Preview: Salem vs. Dover
On Friday Salem will take on Dover at 7:00 PM. Salem don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Salem put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Spaulding 54-0. That looming 54-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Salem yet.
Meanwhile, Dover might have drawn first blood against Londonderry, but it was Londonderry who got the last laugh. Dover came up short against Londonderry, falling 23-33. Dover's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Salem's victory lifted them to 6-2 while Dover's defeat dropped them down to 4-4. We'll find out if Salem can add another positive mark to their record or if Dover can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Salem's step.
