Lathrop is a perfect 3-0 against Central Valley since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Spartans will host the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

The Spartans never let the Wolves get on the board and left with a 26-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Spartans have won eight matchups by more than 21 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lathrop to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luz De Luna, who threw for 183 yards and three TDs. JaLeiyah Ray helped De Luna out on the ground, picking up 36 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lathrop's defense and their three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Faith Butler.

Meanwhile, Central Valley came tearing into Wednesday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 24-0 win. The Hawks not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 8th (when they won 32-0).

The critical scores for Central Valley came from Ruby Medina, Ayleen Apreza, Jazmin Carmona, and Mia Muniz.

Central Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Apreza, Damaris Cisneros, and Airieana Martinez picked up one apiece. Martinez has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last three times she's played.

Lathrop's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Central Valley, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Everything came up roses for Lathrop against Central Valley when the teams last played back in September, as the team secured a 46-0 victory. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
