Football Recap: Moss Point Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Moss Point can now relate to. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Columbia Wildcats on Friday. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Aiden Evans threw for 50 yards on seven of 17 attempts. Thompson Jonovan was his top target, picking up 96 receiving yards. On the ground, Jayden Brown rushed for 65 yards.

Moss Point's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Columbia, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
