Basketball Recap: Griggs County Central/Midkota Comes Up Short

Griggs County Central/Midkota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakes Tornadoes. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tornadoes from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Griggs County Central/Midkota now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Oakes, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Griggs County Central/Midkota will venture away from home to take on New Rockford-Sheyenne at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakes has already played their next game (against Griggs County Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
