Football Recap: David Douglas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

David Douglas had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-7 to make it four. They lost 34-14 to the Centennial Eagles. The Scots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Despite the loss, David Douglas still got an impressive performance from Jaxon Ketel, who rushed for 35 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 40 receiving yards.

As for Centennial, their record is now 4-5. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Centennial got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Teyema out in front who rushed for 80 yards and one score on only six carries, and also threw for 37 yards and one TD. Those 80 rushing yards gave Teyema a new career-high. Centennial also got a significant boost from Jared Schneider, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 112 yards.

As of now, neither David Douglas nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
