For the second straight game, Nelson County will face off against Spotswood. The Governors will head out on the road to take on the Trailblazers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Nelson County is headed out to face Spotswood after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Governors came out on top against the Trailblazers by a score of 61-52 on Tuesday. The Governors pushed the score to 49-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trailblazers cut but never quite recovered from.

Nelson County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Colton Ward led the charge by dropping a double-double with ten points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Ward a new career-high in steals (three). Aiden Carter was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine assists and five boards.

Nelson County was able to grind out a solid victory over Spotswood in their previous meeting on Tuesday, winning 61-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Governors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
