Basketball Recap: Founders Classical Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

While Founders Classical Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Tonopah Muckers 37-15 on Friday. 37 seems to be a good number for the Centurions as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Founders Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adam Bruning, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Evan Bruning, who earned 11 points.

The win was the fourth in a row for Founders Classical Academy, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.5 points per game. As for Tonopah, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Founders Classical Academy has already played their next matchup, a 29-12 victory against Liberty Baptist Academy on the 14th. As for Tonopah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 24-22 defeat against Lund on the 14th.
