The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Frederick Douglass nor Bryan Station made it on the board until the seventh inning. The Broncos narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Defenders 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted since April 17th.

Savannah Wombles made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
