Football Recap: Wayland Comes Up Short

Wayland was the 30-0 winner over Hopkinton when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 32-28 to the Hillers on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hopkinton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Wayland will host Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hopkinton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Medfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
