Softball Preview: Barstow Aztecs vs. Victor Valley Jackrabbits
For the second straight game, Barstow will face off against Victor Valley. The Aztecs will venture away from home to face off against the Jackrabbits at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Barstow will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Barstow turned things around against Victor Valley on Wednesday. They blew past the Jackrabbits 21-3. The game marked the Aztecs' most dominant victory of the season.
Izabella Ayala was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI.

In other batting news, Barstow let Riley Purdy and Mia-Cali Zamora run wild.
