Mission Valley lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Osage City, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Indians on Friday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by eight runs or more this season.

Maddie Kraus made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Kraus was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Kyplee Jacobson was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailynn Jacobson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Mission Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .559. They are 10-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win was the third in a row for Mission Valley, bringing their record up to 13-6.
