Volleyball Recap: Wesleyan Wolves vs. North Forsyth Raiders
The Wesleyan Wolves came up short against the North Forsyth Raiders on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18.
Emma Jane Gillis paced Wesleyan's offense, picking up six kills. Gillis got some help from Caroline Stickney and her 18 assists.
North Forsyth found their leader in freshman Lyla Jane Craft, who had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Craft. Jocelyn Dally also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.
Wesleyan's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Forsyth, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Wesleyan has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against North Oconee on the 23rd. As for North Forsyth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Harrison on the 23rd.
