Basketball Recap: Truman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kauffman last Saturday, Truman came back down to earth. The Truman Patriots lost 78-56 to the North Kansas City Hornets on Tuesday. The Patriots have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Truman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Kansas City, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Truman will take on Chrisman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Kansas City, they will head out to challenge Blue Springs South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Kansas City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Blue Springs South likes a good challenge.
