Basketball Recap: Gunn Takes a Loss

After flying high against Santa Clara last Thursday, Gunn came back down to earth. The Gunn Titans took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Homestead Mustangs on Friday. The Titans have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Gunn now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Homestead, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Gunn will be home for the holidays to greet Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Gunn is facing Hill at the right time seeing as Hill is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Homestead, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lynbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
