Soccer Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the East Henderson Eagles by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against East Henderson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Franklin has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-2 record this season. As for East Henderson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Franklin is set to take on their familiar foe Brevard at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, East Henderson will face off against rival Smoky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
