Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Stringtown's 11th in Last 12 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Stringtown had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Buffalo Valley Buffaloes as they made off with a 50-26 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Buffalo Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Raelea Johnson and Tristyn Kirkes. Johnson posted 11 points and five rebounds, while Kirkes had eight points along with five boards and three steals.

Stringtown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.6 points on average over those games. Buffalo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.
