Basketball Recap: Jackson HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Jackson HomeSchool lost against Muddy River HomeSchool back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jackson HomeSchool Victors were dealt a 90-62 defeat at the hands of the Muddy River HomeSchool Counselors. The Victors were down 67-45 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Leading Muddy River HomeSchool to victory were Caleb Sanders and Sun Michael Williams. Sanders almost dropped a double-double on 36 points and nine rebounds, while Williams almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 15 boards, and nine assists. The dominant performance also gave Williams a new career-high in steals (eight). Luke Sanders was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.

Jackson HomeSchool dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Muddy River HomeSchool, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Jackson HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hattiesburg HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. Muddy River HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
