Basketball Game Preview: Bristol Central Rams vs. Conard Red Wolves

The Bristol Central Rams will face off against the Conard Red Wolves at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Bristol Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Conard likes a good challenge.

Bristol Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Northwest Catholic, who was ranked first at the time (Bristol Central was ranked 14th). The Rams lost to the Lions on the road by a 78-63 margin on Friday. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Conard came up short against Lewis Mills on Thursday, falling 64-40.

Conard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Bristol Central, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.
