Softball Recap: Oak Level Baptist Academy Victorious

Haley Inman made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Angel Walker, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Oak Level Baptist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. As for North Stokes, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Level Baptist Academy will square off against Forsyth Home Educators at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Stokes, they will host Cornerstone Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
