Soccer Recap: Hempstead Takes a Loss

Hempstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the Harmony School of Innovation Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in February.

Hempstead's loss dropped their record down to 2-16-1. As for Harmony School of Innovation, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5-1.

Coming up, Hempstead will host Bellville at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hempstead has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they are taking a road trip to square off against Royal at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday. Royal will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Harmony School of Innovation surely won't give up without a fight.
