Basketball Recap: Guntersville Takes a Loss

Guntersville was the 52-50 winner over Arab when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Guntersville Wildcats lost 63-42 to the Arab Knights on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcats came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Knights are ranked 104th).

Guntersville's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Arab, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Guntersville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-30 defeat against Spring Garden on the 21st. As for Arab, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-64 victory against Albertville on the 21st.
