Softball Game Preview: Claremont Wolfpack vs. Glendora Tartans

The Claremont Wolfpack will take on the Glendora Tartans at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Claremont lost 11-4 to Bonita on Tuesday. The Wolfpack haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Glendora didn't have quite enough to beat Diamond Bar on Tuesday and fell 4-2. The Tartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kylie Coleman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Glendora's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Claremont, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Claremont hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .378. However, it's not like Glendora struggles in that department as they've averaged .329. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
