Volleyball Recap: Manatee Takes a Loss

Manatee lost against Saint Stephen's Episcopal back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hurricanes came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0.

While Manatee had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-22.

Karlah Benzan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 20 digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September.

Manatee's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Manatee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they will welcome Imagine School at North Port at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
