Baseball Recap: Abbott RVT Takes a Loss

Abbott RVT and St. Joseph squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Abbott RVT had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cadets, falling 9-2. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abbott RVT saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Waterbury, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Logan Caruso also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Abbott RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for St. Joseph, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Abbott RVT nor St. Joseph have any future games scheduled.
