Recap: Logan Grizzlies vs. Providence Hall Patriots
The Logan Grizzlies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 41-24 to Providence Hall.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Providence Hall to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ireland Anderson, who scored seven points along with 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Paige Krebs, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Logan bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Providence Hall, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.
Logan's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Ogden at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Ogden is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Providence Hall is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Gunnison Valley is ranked 111th, while Providence Hall is ranked 103rd).
