Softball Recap: Artesia Comes Up Short

Artesia fell victim to Cerritos and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Dons, falling 10-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Pioneers were not able to get on the board.

Artesia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaleyse Foster, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Artesia and nudges their season record down to 10-11. As for Cerritos, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

As of now, neither Artesia nor the Dons have any future games scheduled.
