Big Game from Tyler Showalter
Tyler Showalter turned in nothing short of a gem on Tuesday: he scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As if that's not impressive enough, the game was his fifth in a row with 15 or more points. This year, Showalter has averaged 23.1 points, 1.9 blocks, and 9.1 rebounds per game.
Showalter and Butler will head out on the road to square off against Independence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Showalter up against Independence's star guard Yancey Thomason. Will Showalter turn in another gem to overcome Butler? We'll have our answer very soon.
