Basketball Recap: South Florence Find Success

Lower Richland came into Friday's game looking for another win against South Florence, but Josh Gamble wouldn't allow it. The South Florence Bruins took down the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets 56-42 on Friday thanks in part to Gamble, who went 6 for 10 en route to 23 points and three steals. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Singletary, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave him a new career-high.

South Florence's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Lower Richland, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

South Florence has already played their next matchup, a 61-48 defeat against Westside on the 20th. Lower Richland has also already played their next game (against Darlington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
