Basketball Recap: Tyson Lincey and Ricky Moon Secure Win for Drew + How To Watch

Drew lost to Lovejoy back in January of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Drew put the hurt on Lovejoy with a sharp 84-58 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Drew has posted against Lovejoy since January 13, 2017.

Drew was led to victory by Ricky Moon and Tyson Lincey. Moon dropped a triple-double with 19 points, ten boards, and 12 assists, while Lincey went 9-for-16 to rack up 24 points. That's the most rebounds Moon has posted since back in November of 2024. Khalil Harris was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals.

Lovejoy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Javion Barkley, who shot 57% from the field en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Greyson Curtis, who had eight points and nine boards.

The victory was the third in a row for Drew, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 77.7 points this season. As for Lovejoy, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Drew will challenge North Clayton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lovejoy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-40 loss against Locust Grove on the 18th.
