Football Recap: Kingstree Drops Season-High Score on Mullins

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kingstree). They were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over the Mullins Auctioneers on Friday. The Blazers haven't had any issues with the Auctioneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Mullins lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ayntwain Crawford, who picked up 62 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 51 yards. Kanazzion Bethea handled things on the ground, rushing for 100 yards.

Kingstree's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Mullins, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Kingstree didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-14 loss against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on the 31st. Mullins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
