Baseball Recap: Fairview Knights vs. Mead Mavericks

After losing to Mead the last time they met, Fairview decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went the Fairview Knights' way against the Mead Mavericks on Tuesday as the Fairview Knights made off with a 9-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Fairview.

Fairview got a great performance from Liam Goetz as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Goetz has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive pitching appearances.
