Soccer Game Preview: Wooster vs. Trinity-Pawling School

The Wooster Generals will venture away from home to take on the Trinity-Pawling School Pride at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wooster will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity-Pawling School will be coming in after a loss.

If Wooster beats Trinity-Pawling School with eight goals on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Generals put the hurt on The Williams School with a sharp 8-2 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Wooster, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Trinity-Pawling School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Brunswick School.

Wooster pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those three matchups. As for Trinity-Pawling School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
