Volleyball Recap: Gibbon Comes Up Short

Gibbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Central City Bison. If the Buffaloes were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bison when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15.

Gibbon's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Central City, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Gibbon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Doniphan-Trumbull on the 16th. As for Central City, they will take on Schuyler at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
