Soccer Game Preview: Fulshear vs. Tompkins

The Fulshear Chargers will be taking part in a tournament against the Tompkins Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Fulshear fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They came out on top against Fort Bend Dulles by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Tompkins' and Fort Bend Dulles' game on Friday was close at halftime, but Tompkins turned on the heat in the second half with three goals. Tompkins put the hurt on Fort Bend Dulles with a sharp 5-1 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Fort Bend Dulles with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Matio Guerra (2), Alex Knight, Brayden Lehner, and Daniel Gonzalez.
