Basketball Recap: Salt Fork Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westville, Salt Fork was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 50-43 victory over the Hoopeston Cornjerkers. This was a revenge game for the Storm: when they faced off against the Cornjerkers back in December of 2025, they had to take a 42-28 loss.

Hoopeston lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zach Hutchel, who posted seven points. Cole Miller was another key player, putting up seven points and ten rebounds.
