Soccer Recap: Alcott Starts off Right with Win over Phillips

Alcott gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Phillips with a sharp 4-1 victory.

Alcott hit Phillips with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jeremiah Nieves (2), Gustavo Pacheco, and Douglas Costa.

This is the second loss in a row for Phillips and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Alcott and Phillips will both be playing Ogden International the next time they take the pitch. Alcott will host Ogden International at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Phillips will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on September 8.
