Soccer Recap: Marion County Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Marion County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 7-0 to the St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions on Tuesday. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Mountain Lions from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

The victory got St. Andrews-Sewanee back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Marion County will take on Brainerd at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Andrews-Sewanee will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tyner Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th.
