Soccer Game Preview: West Creek vs. Rossview

West Creek is 0-10 against Rossview since April of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Coyote will venture away from home to square off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. West Creek will be strutting in after a victory while Rossview will be coming in after a defeat.

Rossview better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if West Creek's game on Tuesday is any indication, that's when West Creek really gets things going. The Coyote never let Kenwood get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. West Creek might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by four goals or more this season.

They hit Kenwood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eddy Coronado-Gabriel (2), Kayden Cote, and Andreiyk Orellano Solano.

Meanwhile, Rossview managed to keep up with Hendersonville until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Hawks came up short against the Commandos, falling 3-0. Rossview have struggled against Hendersonville recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The victory made it two in a row for West Creek and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Rossview, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2.

West Creek might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Rossview when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Coyote avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
