The Julian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Borrego Springs Rams at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Julian's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
Julian will bounce into Friday's match after beating Calipatria, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Hornets on Wednesday.

Hailey Bennett made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 16 batters over six innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caiya Regalado, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Alison Hernandez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Julian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .562. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Borrego Springs lost 25-10 to Warner on Tuesday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Anavey Gonzalez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Alexandra Torres, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Borrego Springs' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Julian, their record is now 4-9.
Borrego Springs' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Julian has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Borrego Springs, though, as they've been averaging 10.2 hits. Given Julian's sizable advantage in that area, the Rams will need to find a way to close that gap.
