Baseball Game Preview: Catholic Memorial Crusaders vs. Muskego Warriors

Catholic Memorial hasn't had much luck against Muskego recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Crusaders are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 5:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Catholic Memorial fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Waukesha West on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 6-5. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Catholic Memorial saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Freschi, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Jesse Sobczak was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Muskego also fell in extra-innings ten innings action on Monday. They fell just short of Arrowhead by a score of 5-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Warhawks: they've now lost nine in a row.

Muskego's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Catholic Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
