Basketball Game Preview: Corsica/Stickney Jaguars vs. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans

The Corsica/Stickney Jaguars will face off against the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corsica/Stickney will be strutting in after a victory while Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will be coming in after a loss.

Corsica/Stickney will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Canistota, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Corsica/Stickney strolled past Canistota with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 40-25. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Meanwhile, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 56-41 fall against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Corsica/Stickney, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Corsica/Stickney took their win against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton in their previous matchup back in December of 2018 by a conclusive 70-47. Does Corsica/Stickney have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mt. Vernon/Plankinton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
