Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern Boone). Everything went their way against the Fulton Hornets on Thursday as the Southern Boone Eagles made off with an 87-61 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won three games in a row.

Southern Boone pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.7 points. As for Fulton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Boone will venture away from home to take on Capital City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fulton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North County Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
