Broaddus won the last time they faced Apple Springs, and Kingston Sanders did his part to make sure it happened again. The Broaddus Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 72-56 win over the Apple Springs Eagles on Friday thanks to Sanders, who went 9-for-12 on his way to 20 points and five boards. What's more, he also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024.

Colton Modisette was another key player, going 5-for-11 to rack up 11 points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Despite the loss, Apple Springs still got an impressive performance from Zeth Dugat, who went 10-for-20 en route to 28 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dilyn Baird, who posted six points.

Broaddus has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points over those games. As for Apple Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.

Broaddus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-42 loss against Kennard on the 11th. As for Apple Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-53 victory against Zavalla on the 11th.
