Basketball Recap: Applewood Christian Takes a Loss

Applewood Christian lost against Plaza Heights Christian Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Applewood Christian lost to Plaza Heights Christian Academy on the road by a 60-43 margin.

Remi Schieber was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 12 points and nine boards for Plaza Heights Christian Academy. Schieber is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. George Carpenter was another key player, putting up six points.

Applewood Christian now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-7.

Coming up, Applewood Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Applewood Christian is facing Heritage Academy at the right time seeing as Heritage Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, they will square off against The Daniel Academy on Thursday.
