Basketball Recap: Crooked Oak Comes Up Short

Crooked Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Shawnee Wolves and fell 62-19. While losing is never fun, the Ruf-Nex can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Wolves are ranked 47th).

Crooked Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Shawnee, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crooked Oak will venture away from home to challenge Luther at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shawnee, they will take on Booker T. Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
