Volleyball Game Preview: Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles vs. BASIS Phoenix Firebirds

The Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the BASIS Phoenix Firebirds at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Scottsdale Christian Academy got the win against Odyssey Institute by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, BASIS Phoenix had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against BASIS Flagstaff by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Scottsdale Christian Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for BASIS Phoenix, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Everything went Scottsdale Christian Academy's way against BASIS Phoenix in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Scottsdale Christian Academy made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
