South Fayette barely beat Upper St. Clair the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

South Fayette's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Upper St. Clair, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

South Fayette will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
